====================

Okay, it's just a smashed up truck but there are various things you can do to make the truck really give atmosphere.

Black Ops
==========

If you're making an Opposing Force level, place the truck next to (not against) a wall, face it with the worldcraft camera with the wall behind it. Pick a bullet decal and just go mad, then add a few dead comrades there, and if you can - add a dying 'friend' there with a scripted sequence, like the bloke who's had a nasty accident with the door in Opposing Force.

Bullsquids/chickens
===================

Again, add a few dead people (or make a few alive people, hopelessly outnumbered), cover the truck in 'spit' and slap a few Bullsquids down. Make sure the player sees the truck before the monsters. Enable the 'Wail til seen' flag to stop them coming after YOU!

BOSS
====

Whoa, this is a good one! Stain the truck and add a few dead people, with nothing else in the bosses 'chamber'. Then lock the entrance (don't just shut a door, make a post fall or something). Then wait until the player has made his/her way quite far into the room and make the source of the dead peoples troubles known!

BANG!
=====

Put a normal truck down (the base model for this, (by RIZE) is in Opposing Force Prefabs. It's a mixture of neat boxes and other objects (like trucks) that make life much easier...Anyway) Make this truck a func_wall_toggle and the same for my truck. Make the damaged truck (mine) invisible, and give them both the same targetname, also make a massive env_explosion, and all the other effects you care to include - and give these the same targetname, then make a trigger_once and target them.

That's it, Email me at alex.taylor@barclays.net with ideas, comments, jobs(!) etc.
It's only half mine, I don't mind if you use it, but please let me see what you used it for, and you'd better contact RIZE, I hope he's not too pissed about this! (I didn't ask)
